Dennis Smith Jr Sits Out of Game #2 With Knee Injury
Former NC State point guard Dennis Smith Jr’s NBA debut was historic, becoming the youngest player in NBA history to record a points-assists double-double in their debut, but he tweaked his knee in the game, and was unable to go last night in the the Mavericks second game of the season (the Mavs fell to the Kings 88-93).
Dennis Smith Jr. will miss tonight’s game with left knee effusion, per Mavs PR.

Dennis tweaked his knee trying to take off from the middle of the lane filled with defenders.

The injury isn’t thought to be serious. Smith Jr went through warmups and was a late scratch.
