NC State Football Off to 3rd Best Start in School History

NC State takes a 6-1 record into Notre Dame this weekend, which is tied for the 3rd best in school history since joining the ACC in 1953.

Three out of the six teams that have started 6-1 before, went on to win their 8th game.

The last time NC State started 4-0 in the ACC and posted a 6-game winning streak was 15 years ago, in 2002 when the Wolfpack went on to win 11 games.

After starting 4-0 in conference play in 2002, the Wolfpack went on to lose the next 3 conference games, and ultimately finished 4th in the ACC. Here’s to hoping this NC State squad can finished what they started.
