3-Star ‘19 DT Zovon Lindsay Breaks Down NC State Visit for PI

This past Saturday, 3-Star 2019 Defensive Tackle Zovon Lindsay (6’5”/260) came up to visit for NC State’s game against Clemson. Lindsay (Trinity Christian, Fayettville) is the top defensive lineman in the state of North Carolina in 2019, and the #28 player in the state according to Rivals. NC State was the 1st school to offer Lindsay last November. Below, Lindsay broke down his recruitment and his visit to NC State this weekend for PackInsider.

On how NC State’s recruitment of Him compares to other schools…

They show me that I’m a priority for them. They spend a lot of time and effort keeping in contact with me. Coach Doeren has kept it real with me during the whole process.

On which NC State coach is in charge of his recruitment…

Coach McDonald is my recruiter, but all of the coaches really recruit me. They all treat me like I’m family, and they show me they really want me to come there.

On his experience at the Clemson game…

It was amazing! I got to talk to most of the coaches and the environment during the game was great.

On which current NC State players he has built a relationship with…

During the summer at a camp I was talking to Justin Jones and BJ Hill, and they taught me a lot of things and were telling me why I should go to NC State.

On which schools are recruiting him the hardest currently…

NC State, Virginia Tech and Clemson
