Parrish Leaks Thad Matta’s Letter on Braxton Beverly
Get used to it, NCAA. The Braxton Beverly eligibility case isn’t going away. Today, CBS sports writer Gary Parrish, tweeted this:
I’ve now obtained the letter Thad Matta sent to the NCAA in support of Braxton Beverly. How could a decent person read this and still deny? pic.twitter.com/2gRMHb5jMJ

Our thoughts exactly. Former Ohio State coach, Thad Matta, is on record stating that he enrolled Beverly in summer school with the thought that he was helping Braxton get ahead. Instead, he was fired and now takes responsibility for Braxton’s situation. He told all of this to the NCAA and begged them to let Beverly not be punished. However, the NCAA didn’t listen and we were where we are.
Meanwhile, Brian Bowan (whose camp took money in the FBI/Lousiville/shoe company scandal) has been cleared and is allowed to be reinstated by Lousivlle.
Wait, what?

They are saying that because Bowen didn’t know money was exchanging hands that he can’t be held accountable.
Oh, kinda like Braxton Beverly didn’t know his coach was going to be fired before the season. According to the NCAA, not like that at all. At this point it seems like going to class is literally one of the most punishable offenses in the NCAA rulebook.
