Ricky Person’s 4 TD’s Lead Heritage Past Purnell in 1st Round

NC State 2018 Running Back Commit Ricky Person rushed for 4 touchdowns last night in Heritage’s (11-1) 34-13 victory over Purnell Sweet in the opening round of the state playoffs. He would have had 5 touchdowns, but a 95-yarder was taken off the board because of a holding penalty. Person reached a huge milestone last night, crossing the 2,000 yards rushing mark for the season. Ricky now has 36 rushing touchdowns this year, and 3 receiving.

Heritage has a much bigger challenge in the second round next week, when they go on the road to face undefeated Cardinal-Gibbons 11-0).
