Boletepeli has been one of the top prospects on NC State’s wish list for quite awhile. He chose NC State over offers from Miami, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan St, South Carolina, Wake Forest, UNC, and many others.
ESPN ranks him as he #21 recruit in the state of North Carolina in the 2018 Class.
In 12 games this season for Heritage, Boletepeli has recorded 54 tackles, including 2.5 sacks. He also has intercepted two passes and recovered 2 fumbles. As a Junior at Millbrook he posted 40 tackles, two sacks and one fumble recovery.
With the commitment of Boletepeli, NC State continues to bring in the best talent in the Triangle.
Joseph Boletepeli is the sixth Triangle high school football player to commit to NC State from the Class of 2018. Joining him: Ricky Person (Heritage), Trent Pennix & Alim McNeill (Sanderson), Tyler Williams (Southeast Raleigh) & Devin Carter (Clayton). #HSOT
