Person & Boletepeli Lead Heritage to 3rd Rd of Playoffs

Heritage High School is headed to the 3rd round of the state playoffs next week, and NC State commits Ricky Person and Joseph Boletepeli are a big reason why.

Cardinal-Gibbons might have been the #3 seed, but #6 seed Heritage never trailed once in yesterday’s 34-6 rout.

Running Back Ricky Person had 15 carries for 79 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game with an injury in the 3rd quarter. His injury isn’t thought to be serious at this point.

Defensive End Joseph Boletepeli also added 6 tackles and 1 sack.

Heritage will head down to Wilmington to face #2 Hoggard next Friday.
