Lorenzo Brown called up by the Raptors, Plays 18 minutes

Former NC State point guard has been called up by the Raptors not even a week after this 29 points, 7 assist, 6 rebound outbreak in the G-League.

He is slotting in for Delon Wright who is out with a dislocated shoulder and could miss another week or so. That means Brown could be slotting in as the backup PG for a nice chunk of time.

Last night he got some decent floor time (18 minutes) but didn’t have too much to show for it. Brown finished with 0 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds. He didn’t turn the ball over and he only took one shot.

You have to believe that the Raptors are hoping for a little more from Brown, but I’m sure they’ll take 18 minutes of no turnover basketball, especially when they came away with a 104-87 win over the Knicks.

We’ll be keeping an eye on Zo as he gets more comfortable with his new team.
