Top JUCO DB Aaron Maddox is Taking an Official Visit to NC State this Weekend

NC State will be hosting Aaron Maddox (6’1″/192), the #1 freshman defensive back in the Junior College ranks, on an official visit this weekend for the UNC game.

The Wolfpack offered a scholarship to Maddox on November 8th.

Maddox played his high school ball at North Augusta High (North Augusta, South Carolina) and initially committed to Western Carolina, which is an FCS school, and that was his only offer. Maddox had aspirations to play college football at a higher level, so he decided to go out to Tucson, Arizona, to play for Pima Community College (JUCO).

Maddox’s goal was to increase his options, and he has done that in a major way.

He took an official visit to Arkansas this past weekend, and has one scheduled for Colorado on December 2nd, and one scheduled for Louisville for December 9th. Maddox confirmed with me that the visit this weekend will be an official visit, and that he is thinking of canceling one of the official visits scheduled after his visit to Raleigh.
