3-Star 2018 DE Devin Hayes De-Commits From NC State

Last night 3-Star 2018 defensive end Devin Hayes (Orlando, Florida) de-committed from NC State. He committed to the Wolfpack on June 17th this summer. FAU has been pushing hard for him the past couple of weeks, and took an unofficial there on November 17th. Also, a couple of hours ago news broke that Hayes will be taking an official visit to FAU on the weekend of December 8th.

Maybe Hayes didn’t see as much playing time in the future for him with the commitments of Alim McNeil and Joseph Boletepeli. Most likely, he wanted to stay closer to home. We wish him he best.

NC State now has 22 commitments in the 2018 recruiting class.
