2018 ATH Daevon Robinson De-Commits From NC State

For the 2nd time this week, a member of NC State’s 2018 football recruiting class has de-committed. First it was 3-Star DL/OL Devin Hayes, and tonight it’s 3-Star ATH Daevon Robinson (6’4”/210).

This is a major loss for the Wolfpack. Robinson was the 4th best player in the 2018 recruiting class according to 247Sports. Robinson was a unique talent, and had the versatility, size and athleticism to pick up where Jaylen Samuels left off in the H-Back role.

Robinson told 247 that he isn’t “fully done” with NC State yet, but he has scheduled official visits to Baylor on December 8th and Rutgers on December 16th. Considering that Robinson is from New Jersey, it’s not shocking to see New Jersey in the mix.

We wish Robinson the best of luck, but this is a big blow for the Wolfpack.
