Malik Abu Out Vs. South Carolina St.

According to the News and Observer’s Steve Wiseman, NC State’s Malik Abu will not play today against South Carolina St.

Another game on the sideline for NC State’s Abdul-Malik Abu. In sweats and not warming up with Wolfpack as it preps for noon tip with S.C. State today at PNC Arena. Goal is to get Abu healthy and trusting his knee for ACC play.

This was never made Official this week, but this isn’t shocking and makes sense. South Carolina St. has one win to their name, and the Wolfpack shouldn’t need Abu out there to get the victory. He is way too valuable to have him out there in non-conference play if he isn’t 100%.
