Former NC State Safety Josh Jones snagged his first career NFL interception today in the Packers 27-21 victory over the winless Browns.

The interception came in Overtime after Clay Matthews hit Kizer’s arm as he began his throwing motion. Players went up for the deflected ball, and Jones came down with it.

The Packers followed up the pick with a touchdown to win the game, and improve to 7-6.

On the Browns previous possession in the 4th quarter, Jones broke up a pass on 3rd down, forcing the Browns to punt, and the Packers went down the field and tied the game up, forcing overtime.

Jones had 1 tackle, 1 interception and 3 pass deflections.

In his rookie season, Jones has 57 tackles, 2 sacks, and 4 pass deflections in 13 games.
