NC State Offers 4-Star CB Taiyon Palmer

NC State continues to hand out scholarship offers in the state of Georgia. Today they offered 4-Star 2018 cornerback Taiyon Palmer (6’0”/178) out of Archer High School (Lawrenceville).

This is an interesting one.

Palmer is a former Duke Commit. He committed to the Blue Devils on September 4th of last year. Since then, he’s picked up offers from Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

Then, on November 30th, Duke lost the biggest commitment of their 2018 recruiting class.

NC State is the first to offer Palmer since his decommitment.

ESPN ranks him as he #257 overall in the 2018 class.

NC State is trying to land amother cornerback in this class. Earlier today one of their prospects for that spot, Aaron Maddox, committed to Colorado. Former Tennessee commit Tanner Ingle had a great official visit to NC State this past weekend.

We’ll have to see if NC State picks up any traction with Palmer, and if they do, does that change things with Ingle?
