Former NFL QB Trent Dilfer Praises Wolfpack Commit Devin Leary

#QBU is at it again.

Next year, NC State will bring in 6’1, 190lbs QB Devin Leary. He’s a 4-star signal caller from Timber Creek, NJ who recently was named NJ’s Gatorade Player of the Year.

Everyone who has seen Leary has been impressed, even former NFL QB Trent Dilfer who just yesterday had this to say in response to the announcement of Leary’s POY award:

Dilfer runs the ‘Elite 11’ premier quarterback competition, which Leary was invited to this past year. Here he is showing off his arm during the pro day workout.

According to SB Nation, Leary scored a 44, which was best on the day and only one point off of Tua Tagovailoa’s 45 from last year.

Among the alums of the Elite 11 are Drew Brees, Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, and Matthew Stafford.
