Darian Roseboro is Returning For His Senior Season

NC State Junior Defensive End Darian Roseboro announced on Twitter last night that he will be returning for his Senior season.

Roseboro has played in all 38 games since arriving at NC State, but has only started one contest. With that being said, in limited action, Roseboro has managed to accumulate 23.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks. That’s more than any other NC State defensive lineman not named Bradley Chubb over the past three seasons.

Outside of Chubb, no one has flashed more than Roseboro on the NC State defense over the past couple of years. He’s big. He’s strong. He’s fast. He’s just a natural instinctual football player.

When he originally committed to Michigan, he announced in his press conference that he would be playing only three seasons. Had he not played behind Chubb for the past three years, he probably would have been gone after this season. He’s that good.

Roseboro has the size and athleticism that will one day make him a steady NFL player, but thankfully that won’t happen until 2019.
