Smith (Western/Fort Lauderdale, FL) was the 8th member of the NC State 2018 football recruiting class, committing to run with the Wolfpack on June 23rd.

Smith chose NC State over offers from Pittsburgh, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and others.

ESPN ranks him as the #57 athlete in the 2018 class.

Smith had 24 receptions for 420 yards, 722 all-purpose yards and 35 tackles with two interceptions and two pass break-ups as a Junior.
