3-Star LB Calvin Hart Signs His Letter of Intent to NC State

3-star Linebacker Calvin Hart (6’1″/207) has officially signed his letter of intent.

Hart (American Heritage/Fort Lauderdale, FL) was the 16th member of NC State’s 2018 football recruiting class, committing to run with the Wolfpack on October 1st while on an official visit in Raleigh.

Hart ultimately chose NC State over Texas A&M.

“The first thing that stands out to me is coach (Dave) Hux (Huxtable), the defensive coordinator, and the relationship I got with him on the first visit,” Hart told Scout on Friday. “I like the vision the coaching staff has for me, and also the academic opportunities they have for me. (Scout)

ESPN ranks Hart as the #67 Outside Linebacker in the 2018 class.

Hart had 92 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks for American Heritage this year.
