3-Star RB Trent Pennix Signs His Letter of Intent to NC State

Pennix (Sanderson/Raleigh, NC) was the 7th member of the NC State 2018 football recruiting class, committing to run with the Wolfpack on June 9th.

Pennix also held offers from Boston College, Louisville, Maryland, Minnesota, Wake Forest, West Virginia and others.

He rushed for 1,247 yards (6.5 yards per carry) and 16 touchdowns as a Senior at Sanderson. Pennix also had 34 receptions for 397 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Rivals ranks him as the #37 running back in the 2018 class, and the #23 overall player in the state of North Carolina.
