PackPro Matchup: Williams’ Clips Beat Warren’s Suns

Last night two former NC State basketball players matched up against one another in the NBA.

CJ Williams’ Los Angeles Clippers beat TJ Warren’s Phoenix Suns 108-95.

Williams started his 3rd game of the season, and his second straight. He played a career high of 28 minutes and 52 seconds, and scored a career high of 12 points.

Warren struggled shooting (9-24), but led the Suns in scoring in Devin Booker’s absence, with 22 points. Warren actually filled the box score more than normal, notching a double-double with his 10 rebounds, and also added 5 assists. Last night was the 15th time this season that TJ has scored 20+ points.
