NC State 2018 Football Recruiting: Who’s Left?

Published

on

NC State signed twenty-one of their twenty-two 2018 football recruiting commits on Wednesday, and the question is…who’s left?

The Wolfpack will likely take 3-4 more players in this class.

Their wish list isn’t extremely long right now, unless they start recruiting some new people between now and February.

Obviously, one of the names on the list is already committed to NC State, but he didn’t sign on the dotted line on Wednesday. I’m talking about Defensive End Derrick Eason.

A huge emphasis in this class has been defensive back, and they don’t seem to be satisfied yet.

NC State offered former Duke 4-Star Cornerback Commit Taiyon Palmer on December 11th, and were in his house down in Georgia for an in-home visit two days later. It’s likely that Palmer will put something on the books in the near future for a visit.

Former Southern Cal Tight End Cary Angeline was at the NC State vs. Clemson game. The Wolfpack is in the mix for the former 4-Star High School prospect.

Finally, NC State lost out in the services of 4-star Offensive Tackle Jovaughn Gwyn to South Carolina, so we will have to see if they want to pursue another O-Lineman (already have 3 signed).
