WATCH: Dennis Smith Jr notches first career triple-double in win
If you remember back to last season, Dennis Smith Jr was the first in ACC history to record two triple-doubles against league opponents.
Well, he’s at it again, but this time it’s at the game’s highest level. (video above)
DSJ went off for 21 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the 128-120 win over the Pelicans. He went 8-12 from the field and 5-7 from 3pt range. Even his buddy, rapper J. Cole, couldn’t contain himself.

Smith Jr becomes the 3rd youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double. The only ones younger are Lonzo Ball and LeBron James.
The stellar performance did come with 7 turnovers, and the Mavs are only 12-25, but Smith Jr. is only starting what is sure to be a superstar career.
