As NC State heads into a road matchup against Notre Dame tomorrow night, here are a few thoughts on NC State’s most efficient and least efficient offensive players.

Offensive Rating

  1. Lennard Freeman – 141.2
  2. Omer Yurtseven- 124.8
  3. Sam Hunt – 121.1
  4. Torin Dorn – 119.4
  5. Braxton Beverly – 117.2
  6. Markell Johnson – 103.8
  7. Allerik Freeman – 97.1
  8. Lavar Batts – 96.3
  9. Malik Abu – 96.1
  • Allerik Freeman has been a black hole for NC State’s Offense. He’s down at the bottom of the list when it comes to offensive rating, but has taken 60 more field goal attempts than the next guy, Torin Dorn.
  • Lennard Freeman ranks 4th in the nation in Offensive Rating,  yet ranks 5th on the team in field goal attempts.
  • Omer Yurtseven and Lennard Freeman, two members of NC State’s frontcourt lead the Wolfpack in Offensive Efficiency but are both averaging under 21 minutes per game.
  • I know Abu isn’t completely himself yet, but he is averaging the same minutes as Yurtseven. As it stands, Abu ranks last in Offensive Rating.

  • This is the box score against Clemson. Sam Hunt, who ranks third in Offensive Rating, played 9 minutes. Lennard Freeman played 13.
