Former NC State Guard CJ Williams Scores New Career High

Former NC State Guard CJ Williams recorded a new career high last night, scoring 18 points on 7 of 10 shooting from the field in the Clippers 113-105 victory over the Grizzlies. Williams was also 2 of. 3 from beyond the arch.

Williams is living the dream. He averaged 6 points per game through 4 years at NC State, andsince then has played two years in the G-League and 3 years overseas.

Williams is currently a starter in the NBA for the Clippers, and is playing at a high level.

With that being said, Williams time in the NBA (45-Days allowed on a two-way contract) is coming to a close unless the Clippers sign him to a normal NBA contract and create space for him.

I vote for getting rid of former UNC Power Forward Brice Johnson, who has only played in 9 games this season, averaging 4 minutes per contest. That’s a waste of the $1.3 million he is getting paid this season.
