4-Star LB Traveon Freshwater Tells PI Why NC State is his Leader

On December 27th, 4-star 2019 linebacker Traveon Freshwater (6’3”/220) named NC State as his leader, and I recently caught up with him to find out why.

“Well I got a good relationship with Coach Barlow and everything just went from there. But I love the Coaching staff and some of the things they were saying haven’t left my mind yet.”

Freshwater also told me that besides NC State, he also likes Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Georgia.

He is a 4-star outside linebacker at Northeastern in Elizabeth City (NC). Rivals ranks Freshwater as the #136 overall player in his class, the #7 outside linebacker, and the #3 player in North Carolina.

Freshwater also told me that he would like to make his decision on the Spring before his Senior season.
