Point Guard Blake Harris decided to transfer from Missouri 3 days ago, and we told you to keep your eyes peeled. The former 4-star prospect out of Word of God Academy here in Raleigh wanted to move back closer to home.

Well, it didn’t take long for NC State to get back into the mix with Harris. He’s on campus in Raleigh today.

Harris was originally a Washington signee, but after they fired their coach, he reopened his recruitment and ended up landing at Missouri. NC State has wanted Harris ever since Kevin Keatts showed up on the scene. Shortly before committing to Missouri, the Wolfpack offered Harris, and even had him on campus for an unofficial visit in March.

The Missouri transfer is no slouch either. He was the #99 overall player in the 2017 recruiting class according to ESPN, and the #3 player in the state of North Carolina. Harris held offers from the likes of UCONN, Michigan St., Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Clemson, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, LSU, and others.

The fact that NC State is the first school that Harris steps foot on after getting his release from Missouri is a very good sign. Wherever he ends up, he will have to sit out the rest of this season and the first half of next season as well.
