CJ Williams Hits Game Winning Shot Against Hawks

Last night was easily the highlight of CJ Williams young NBA career. The former NC State guard hit the game winning three pointer with 9 seconds left on the clock.

Williams played a career high 37 minutes, and was extremely efficient with those minutes. He finished with 15 points on 5 of 7 shooting from the field (3 of 4 from three, 4 steals, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

“I think his confidence has grown offensively. I think C.J. Williams was an NBA player when he walked on our team. He definitely plays defense and does all the little things,” said Doc Rivers. (NBA)

Williams didn’t get a bucket of ice water poured on him, but a small plastic cup did the trick.
