He will head to Raleigh this season, but won’t be able to play until mid-way through next season. At that point, he will still have 3 1/2 years of eligibility left.
Harris is from Chapel Hill, NC and went to Word of God Academy in Raleigh. If you remember, we reported that Harris visited NC State in March before committing to Missouri in April.
He was a 4-star who has size and can really do it all. He’s a good defender, he’s quick, can score at the rim and has a nice stroke. The news of Harris committing now gives State 4 PGs on their roster. That’s a lot of PGs to carry, which makes you wonder if they know something we don’t about Johnson’s court case? (Zero inside info on Johnson, just wondering what the pitch was for Harris to commit so quickly with 3 other young PGs on the roster).
This is a big get for the Wolfpack, as Harris has star qualities that Keatts is sure to refine.
Here are some highlights from his short time at Mizzou.
