Get Ready For the Ricky Person Show in 2018

The Ricky Person Show was always coming.

With the exodus of Nyheim Hines, it’s just coming to your TV screens earlier than expected.

Person is a 4-Star 2018 signee that is rated as the #2 running back in his class nationally by 247Sports.

He had 2,230 yards rushing this season (8.5 Yards per carry), along with 41 touchdowns for Heritage High School (Wake Forest, NC)

(Did you watch every second of that video? If not, stop reading and go back and finish it.)

Person is an elite talent. He reminds me of Le’Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is patient behind his blocks. He is explosive. He will run you over. His spin move is ruthless. He can cut on a dime. He can line up at Wide Receiver like Bell, and has hands like him as well.

With all of that being said, one of the greatest bonuses of Person’s freshman season will be the leadership of Senior Reggie Gallaspy. Person won’t have all of the pressure on his shoulders. The adjustment from high school to college is a huge jump, and the presence of Gallaspy will help Person make he adjustment in a big way.

Trust me, I’m sad to see Hines go, but I’m excited to see as much of this kid as possible before he too one day heads to the NFL.

Welcome to The Ricky Person Show.
