5-Star G Anfernee Simons Scheules Official Visit to NC State

247Sports’ Evan Daniels caught up with 2018 5-star Shooting Guard Anfernee Simons (6’3”/165) and confirmed that he has scheduled his next official visit, and it will be at NC State on the weekend of February 10th.

“I like coach [Kevin] Keatts,” Simons said. “He’s a good guy. He told me I would come in and just run the show.” (247)

Simons was originally a Louisville Commit before the Pitino scandal. On the 1st weekend of 2018, Simons took an Official Visit to Tennessee, and it looks like he enjoyed the experience.

He is the #7 overall player in 247Sports rankings, and the #1 player in the state of Florida.

Simons will test the NBA waters, having 15 NBA scouts at his last game. With that being said, most think he will likely be in college next year. He won’t make his decision until the final minute in the Spring.
