NC State Makes 4-Star CB Taiyon Palmer’s Final 3

Last night 4-Star 2018 Cornerback Taiyon Palmer announced that NC State is one of his final three schools, along with Tennessee and Nebraska.

In the month of January, Palmer took Official visits to all three of these schools, with the one to Tennessee being this past weekend.

I was curious if an offer from Alabama (January 21st) would change things for Palmer, but it doesn’t look that way. What it does reveal is the quality of player the Wolfpack could be getting.

Palmer will be making his decision next Wednesday, on National Signing Day. The former Duke Commit is trending toward NC State on 247Sport’s Crystal Ball, with 67% of the predictions going the Pack’s way.

If Palmer were to choose the Wolfpack next Wednesday, he would be their 8th 4-Star commitment. He would become the 4th highest rated player in NC State’s 2018 Class, behind Payton Wilson, Ricky Person and Alim McNeil.
