NC State Standing Out For 4-Star Guard Josh Nickelberry

Rivals’ Dan McDonald recently caught up with 2019 Shooting Guard Josh Nickelberry (6’4”/185) out of Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC), and he said that NC State is one of 6 schools contacting him the most right now. Here’s what he had to say about the Wolfpack’s pursuit of him.

NC State: “It was great win for them over UNC. It shows any team can be beaten. They have a great coaching staff there. They seem like they know what they are doing. They are building a good program.” (Rivals)

McDonald thinks that NC State has made some headway, and might have the edge in Nickelberry’s recruitment at this point. Wolfpack Head Coach Kevin Keatts was in attendance last week watching him play once again.

It also helps that Nickelberry is teammates with NC State 2018 signees Ian Steere and Manny Bates at Northwood Temple Academy.
