Last night two former NC State super stars faced off in the NBA, as TJ Warren’s Suns defeated Dennis Smith Jr.’s Mavericks 102-88.

Warren had the better night, finishing with 20 points (10-18 FG), 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Tony Buckets has now scored 20+ points in 4 straight games, and in 8 of the last 9.

Through 49 games this season, Warren is averaging 19.8 points (50.3% FG) and 5.3 rebounds.

Smith Jr. led the Mavs in scoring in the losing effort, posting 17 points (6-15 FG), 6 assists and 4 rebounds.

Through 44 games this season, DSJ is averaging 14.8 points, 4.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds.
