WATCH: TJ Warren drops 21 on the Charlotte Hornets

We may sound like a broken record, but it’s wrong if we don’t keep updating you on huge games from former NC State forward TJ Warren.

Last night, he had another super-efficient performance, dropping 21 points on 8-14 shooting. Warren has scored 20 or more in 9 of his last 11 outings and is averaging 19.5ppg.

He only had 2 boards, and his rebounding numbers have recently dropped off a bit, but scoring-wise, nobody does it quite like Mr. Buckets.

It’s rare to see a player in today’s game that isn’t out there trying to get a highlight reel dunk, make a flashy pass, or bury a deep 3. Warren knows his role, sticks to it, and does it really, really well. He’s just such a unique player. He’s a SF who is shooting over 50% from the floor. He doesn’t play with his back to the basket, or above the rim. He doesn’t shoot it well from deep. He just faces you up and scores on you in the mid-range.

The Suns have a true throwback scorer, and I think the real challenge is learning how to use him and learning how to build around him.

But while the Suns front office continues to try to figure that out, Warren just keeps on doing what he does best; getting buckets.
