4-Star CB Taiyon Palmer Signs Letter of Intent to NC State

It has been a HUGE National Signing Day for NC State. The Wolfpack came in dreaming that 4 players would sign letters of intent, and all 4 did.

4-Star Cornerback Taiyon Palmer just signed his letter of intent to play football at NC State.

Here’s what NC State head coach Dave Doeren had to say about Palmer.

Palmer was originally committed to Duke, and was the best player in their 2018 recruiting class. After decommitting from the Blue Devils on November 30th, NC State was the first to offer, and no one recruited him harder than the Wolfpack.

Even after receiving an offer from Alabama, Palmer ended up choosing NC State over Tennessee and Nebraska.

ESPN ranks Palmer as the #262 player in the 2018 recruiting class, and 247Sports ranks him as the #31 player in the state of Georgia.

According to my count, Palmer is now the 9th 4-star player that NC State has in the 2018 recruiting class.
