Angeline played his high school ball at Downingtown East (Exton, PA), was a 4-star prospect, and the #10 Tight End in the country by 247Sports, and the #245 overall player according to ESPN. He ultimately chose USC over offers from the likes of Alabama, Penn St., Georgia, Florida St., Michigan, Michigan St., Auburn, Miami, Florida, Ohio St., Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, Virginia Tech, NC State, and many others.
After redshirting last season, Angeline was a little over a month into his redshirt Freshman season when he decided that he wanted to transfer from USC.
Angeline will be eligible after a couple of games into the 2018 season as a Redshirt Sophomore.
Here’s what NC State head coach Dave Doeren had to say about the addition of Angeline.
