Jerry Palm of CBS projects NC State as a 9 seed in his latest bracket

Jerry Palm of CBS released his latest bracket today and projected NC State as a 9 seed playing Arkansas (8 seed) in the MidWest region.

NC State just keeps on winning, and as expected, their seed keeps on dropping.The Pack still has some work to do, however. They take on #25 Florida State at home on Sunday and then travel to Georgia Tech to take on the Yellow Jackets before closing the season with a home game against Louisville. If NC State wins out, finishes 4th in the ACC and takes at least one in the ACC tournament we could see them jump to as high as a 5 or a 6 seed.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. They still need to pick up one more regular season win to (in our opinion) lock them into the tournament. As of now, even if they lose out, we believe they’d sneak in as one of the last 4 in.
