Senior Forward Lennard Freeman spoke to the media today before the Wolfpack’s matchup against Georgia Tech today, and ultimately before his Senior Day Saturday night against Louisville. You can watch it in full here, but here it is in BULLETED form.

  • Senior night hit me when we got parking passes for our families. I got my last one. I realized it was over.
  • In the off-season Coach Keatts talked about how we would play, and I looked at our personnel and I thought it could work. With his history was of winning programs I bought in, and he’s done a great job.
  • One of the hardest offseasons with all the conditioning.
  • Malik is a character. He’s funny. I love Malik. He will be my brother for life.
  • Last year and this year I’ve been in Omer’s corner. When he wasn’t playing well last year he’d ask me what he could do better. Same thing this year. I told I’m to be ready, that he was a beast, a dog.
  • Playing in the tournament is the greatest time of your life. You win one game and you feel like you won a Super Bowl. You win two games you feel like you won two Super Bowls. You never want to leave the tournament once you get there.
  • Wanted to wait to do Senior night this year, to have a better shot at it.
