NC State closed out the regular season with an extremely important 76-69 win against Louisville tonight.

The Wolfpack finished the regular season with a 21-10 record, and an 11-7 record in ACC play.

Four NC State players scored in double figures, with Allerik Freeman leading the way with 16 points (3-13 FG, 9-11 FT), 6 rebounds and 6 assists (team lead). While Freeman might have led the Wolfpack in total points, Torin Dorn and Braxton Beverly’s performances were more efficient and more impressive.

Dorn scored 15 points, shooting an efficient 7-11 from the field. He also led the Wolfpack with 8 rebounds.

Beverly had 13 points, making 5 of his 7 field goal attempts, and 3 of 4 from deep range.

Omer Yurtseven also hit 3 three-pointers (13 points), but his most crucial stat line were his 5 blocks.

NC State once again was hot from deep, hitting 42.1% of their three-point attempts. They also forced the Cardinals to turn the ball over 15 times, which matches their season average (leads the conference).

The Wolfpack will have to wait and see the result of the Duke vs. UNC game to see what their seeding will be in next weeks ACC Tournament. If Duke wins, the Wolfpack will enter as the #5 seed. If UNC wins, NC State will be the #6 seed.
