Jaylen Samuels Shines as a “Tight End” at the NFL Combine
No one knows what position NC State’s Jaylen Samuels is, but he worked out with the Tight Ends at the NFL Combine yesterday, and he showed out.
JaySam ran 4.54 40-yard dash.

The blistering time tied for 1st among Tight Ends, and it would have tied for 9th among running backs.
His 18 reps on bench press ranked 5th among Tight Ends, and would have ranked 9th among Running Backs.
His 34.5 inch vertical jump ranked 4th among Tight Ends, and would have ranked 12th among running backs.
His 10’1” broad jump ranked 3rd among Tight Ends, and would have ranked 11th among running backs.
His 6.93 in the three-cone drill ranked 2nd among Tight Ends, and would have been 5th among Running Backs.
His 4.28 20-yard shuttle ranked 5th among Tight Ends, and would have ranked 11th among Running Backs.
The reason I point out how Samuels would have ranked as a Running Back, is because he says that teams are interested in him as a Running Back.
