NC State Finishes the Regular Season Ranked 52nd in RPI Poll

We all know NC State’s strength of schedule was extremely weak this season, but we also know that they are way better than the 52nd team in the country. Nonetheless, the Wolfpack finish ranked 52nd in the RPI at the end of the regular season.

Look, I’m a stat junkie, but your system is broken when it calculates NC State as being the 10th best team in the ACC this year.

Finally, the Quadrant system the NCAA Tournament selection committee is using is handcuffed to the RPI.
