NC State’s BJ Hill Shines at the NFL Combine
NC State Defensive Tackle BJ Hill was one of the most impressive interior Defensive Linemen to participate in the NFL Combine yesterday.
At 311 pounds, the big fella ran a 4.99 40-yard dash (CRAZY), ranking 4th among defensive tackles, and 15th overall among defensive linemen.
His 35 reps on the bench press ranked 3rd among defensive linemen.
Hill was extremely impressive in the 3-come drill, producing a time of 7.28. That was 2nd among defensive tackles and 5th overall among defensive linemen. It was even faster than Chubb.
His 4.53 in the 20-yard shuttle run ranked 3rd among defensive tackles and tied for 11th overall among defensive linemen.

Matt Miller of Bleacher Report thinks Hill might have pushed himself into the 2nd round with his Combine performance.
