ESPN says NC State ‘should be in’ NCAA Tournament

NC State’s loss to Boston College wasn’t ideal, but it isn’t going to knock the Pack out of the NCAA Tournament according to nearly every analyst out there. ESPN’s latest ‘Bubble Watch‘ lists the Pack in the ‘should be in’ column and gives them a nice write up. Check it out…

Hmm, looks like ESPN doesn’t even put any stock into their own BPI metric. Although they list it first above, they sent out this idiotic tweet prior to last night’s game.

Next on ESPN, ACC Tournament continues with NC State-Boston College.

With win, Wolfpack would be a near lock to make NCAA Tournament (<100% via ESPN’s BPI). With loss, NC State chances would plummet to 4%.

This click-baiting tweet is straight-up disinformation and was sent out solely to drum up interest in the game that was about to air on their network. As shameful as it is, it’s funny to see their own ‘insiders’ contradicting their flawed BPI tool that they love to tout during Tournament time.
