NC State Baseball Individual ACC Stat Leaders Heading Into ACC Play

NC State baseball will begin ACC play today against Boston College today at 3pm. The Wolfpack is ranked 10th in the nation, and boasts an 11-2 record.

Here’s a look at the NC State players that rank in the top in the ACC in individual statistical categories heading into their ACC slate.

Junior Outfielder Brett Kinneman is easily the offensive MVP of the ACC thus far. He ranks 2nd in batting average, leads the ACC in Hits, Home Runs, Total Bases, RBI’s and Slugging Percentage. He also ranks 5th in On-Base Percentage.

Junior Infielder Evan Edwards ranks 7th in batting average, 2nd in On-base percentage, 2nd in home runs, and 2nd in slugging percentage.

Senior Outfielder Brock Deatherage ranks 13th in batting average, 5th in hits, 4th in home runs, 2nd in steals, 1st in runs, and 2nd in total bases.

Senior Pitcher Brian Brown leads the ACC in Wins, 2nd in ERA, and 7th in opponents batting average.

Relief pitchers Reid Johnston (FR) and Joe O’Donnell (SR) rank 2nd in saves.
