Freeman, Dorn, Yurtseven Rep NC State at NCAA Presser: BULLETED

Yesterday Al Freeman, Torin Dorn, and Omer Yurtseven were NC State’s representative at the Press Conference in Wichita heading into today’s matchup against Seton Hall. You can watch it here, but here is is in BULLETED form.

AF: If you don’t want your season to be over, compete as hard as you can…win.

OY: Delgado is the leading rebounder in the Big East. He’s a strong dude. I’ll have to be physical with him.

TD: It takes time when a new staff comes in, to buy into their system. Once everyone bought in, we went to Italy, came together as a team, and it’s been smooth sailing ever sense.

AF: We came together in the summer and learned each other’s tendencies, grew closer, got on the same page. We believe in our coaching staff and they believe in us.

OY: Wasn’t here when they went to Italy, but when I arrived they welcomed me like family.

TD: Seton Hall is big and physical. Big East style. Beat you up and bruise you. Contrasting styles. We’re a fast team. We pressure and get after it. The biggest challenge is to match their physicality.

AF:  our goal is to play our style.  We have to control the tempo and be the best version of ourselves. That gives us confidence.

OY: It’s going to be a battle, but I think our style will wear them down by the end, and we will win the game.
