NC State’s Jakobi Meyers 2017 HIGHLIGHT REEL
Jakobi Meyers came to NC State as a 3-star quarterback prospect out of the state of Georgia in the 2015 recruiting class. In his first season in Raleigh, he missed a majority of the season with a knee injury. During the offseason heading into his Redshirt Freshman season, he was moved to Wide Receiver. In his first season at a new position, he collected 13 receptions for 158 yards.
Last season Meyers became a revelation as a Redshirt Sophomore, snagging 63 receptions (3rd on the team) for 727 yards (2nd on the team) and 5 touchdowns (1st on the team). Meyers proved to have breakaway speed, as well as being an extremely reliable third down option with outstanding hands.
Meyers has a future payday ahead of him in the NFL as a wide receiver, and will be a part of one of the best receiving corps in the nation in 2018. He might be slightly in the shadow of freak-of-nature Kelvin Harmon, but don’t be mistaken…Meyers is a STAR.
Check out his HIGHLIGHTS.
