NC State’s Kentavius Street Had Successful ACL Surgery

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com and NFL Network, NC State defensive end Kentavius Street had successful ACL surgery.

#NCState DE Kentavius Street had successful ACL surgery last week done by Dr. James Andrews, source said. The surgery was deemed a success and a full recovery is expected. Street had impressed before his injury and should still be drafted.

Not sure if you caught the last 4 words of the above tweet, but Rapoport believes Street “STILL SHOULD BE DRAFTED.”

This is huge news for Street. After tearing his ACL during a workout with the Giants, his draft status was in question. It was heartbreaking.

I was confident Street would find an NFL home one day after recovering, but this report by Rapoport is very good news.

The draft officially gets underway tomorrow.
