NC State Players At The Top of The ACC Heading into Wake Forest: BATTERS

Here’s a breakdown of the NC State BATTERS that rank in the Top-10 in the ACC in individual statistical categories heading into the Wolfpack’s weekend series against Wake Forest.

Senior outfielder Josh McClain ranks 4th in the ACC in batting average (.348) and Freshman catcher Patrick Bailey ranks 10th (.328).

McClain also leads the ACC in hits (77).

Junior outfielder Brett Kinneman is 2nd in home runs (14), and Senior outfielder Brock Deatherage is tied for 6th (12).

Kinneman also is tied for 2nd in triples (3) and is 4th in RBI’s (49).  Sophomore shortstop Will Wilson ranks 6th in RBI’s (43).

Three NC State players rank in the Top-19 in total bases: 2) Brett Kinneman (114), 3) Will Wilson (113), and 5) Brock Deatherage (103).
