Former NC State All-American pitcher Carlos Rodin will make his first rehab start this Saturday.

Rodon had shoulder surgery almost 8 months ago, after being shut down after he was scratched from his start in September 7th. Not only did Rodon have an early exit to the 2017 season, but he also had a late start, missing the first three months with biceps bursitis.

The former Wolfpack Ace showed what he can do when healthy as well in 2017, posting a 2.93 ERA with 48 strikeouts in 40 innings from July 25 to Aug. 21 in 2017.

Through three years in the majors, Rodon has a 3.95 ERA, a 20-21 record, and has struck out 9.9 batters per 9 innings.

At NC State, Rodon had a career ERA of 2.24, a 25-10 record and struck out 436 batters in 334 innings.
