Trea Turner Extends Hitting Streak to 13 Games

With 2 outs in the top of the 9th, former NC State all-American Shortstop Trea Turner hit a single last night in Atlanta, extending his hitting streak to 13 games.

Over the streak, Turner is hitting .281 with four doubles, a home run and three stolen bases.

On the year, he is batting .268, with 6 HR, 32 R, 11 2B, 22 RBI, 30 BB, and 16 SB.

Turner and the Nats face off again against the Braves today at 4:10 on the road.
